We have a new person living with us. Mom took in a girl who is in grade 11 and wanted to live in the city (her parents live on an acreage) so she could go to school with her friends. She seems nice and goes back home for the weekends.

We had a staff party on Friday. It went really well. We all got kind of drunk (some more than others, and for once I wasn't the drunkest, haha). My mom made tons of food and I think I ate way too much. Especially when I got into the chocolate covered strawberries. I kind of ate them a bit suggestively and ended up with a marriage proposal. I also got a compliment on my "tongue work".

September is always kind of depressing because it signals the end of summer and the time when I can get out and have fun without the snow and cold. It's been pretty hot outside so far so hopefully we will have a nice long warm fall. Then maybe an early spring.... Yeah that's too much to hope for, I just hope that as well as I've been doing all summer doesn't all undo this winter.
