It's been a long time since I've written and the longer it gets the more stuff that happens and the more work it seems like. I suppose I should start though and then hopefully I'll go back to more regular updating. That's the plan at least.

My depression has been kicking my ass this winter. Partially becaue I don't leave the house very much. It's hard to get or afford transportation and the snow does not let me drive my wheelchair anywhere... My sister also moved out at the end of December and then in January one of my best caregivers resigned.It really cut off some of my support system and contact with other people. Locally my friends are pretty much non-existant.

Christmas was alright, it was quiet and was just our family. That was nice, less anxiety for me. The big gift I got was a wireless mouse and keyboard, and I love them. I got some very nice gifts from friends and family, but I'd be hard pressed to name everything now. So thanks everyone and sorry I'm not going through the list invidividually.

I did get the World of Warcarft expansion. It has cemented my addiction that much more. I have a great guild, with people who make me feel like part of the
family so I really enjoy spending time with them on the game.

We have been looking for and recently hired a live in caregiver. She is from the Phillipines (you can't find Canadians who will do this job and stay). She is very quiet and shy. We have paper work and such to go through before she can start but I think she is supposed to start in the next couple weeks. Hopefully it works out well. She speaks English fairly well, but not the best so I hope I don't get too frustrated with her.

Last week I got a new kitten. She is super adorable. I named her Bianca, just because I liked the name. She is very playful but ridiculously well behaved. She hardly ever gets into trouble which is very odd for a kitten. She adoers my other cat, Salinger. It's definitely a big brother/little sister relationship. She does everything he does and wants to be with him all the time. He likes her but needs his space sometimes when she gets too annoying for him. I've taken tons of pictures of her and them together. I might have to make a separate gallery so people don't have to look if they don't want to.
