The Book of Jhereg by Steven Brust (The first three adventures of Vlad Taltos, so three books in one).
It was very hot out today and it is supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Yay! My dad and are going to catch the new Die Hard movie tomorrow. I think I'll bring a sweater for the theater. I swear they think people need to be refrigerated.

I take it back about Frank Rich being crap. I really enjoyed the book. Very witty and thoroughly entertaining if you like that sort of action futuristic type thing. I shall be checking out the rest of the books in the series. Someday. I've got something like 20 library books on my shelf currently. Plus 2 I borrowed recently. Then the 6 or 8 I borrowed from my sister and then about 2 or 3 I still have that her ex let me borrow.... And of course, all the ones I own. Speaking of books, I signed up for the London Review of Books, well for four free issues at any rate. I like it so far. The advertisements are even cool, mostly for lectures in London on different topics and smaller publishing companies. It has a classified section in the back and the personals are hilarious.

I am aware of that. I like this heat. Not sure if I would like Florida heat. I was pretty partial to Tennessee heat though.

It's very good. You get a real sense of what it is like to be on an Arctic expedition (horrible, terribly horrible). The bits with the creature are pretty cool.
