An Update More Than 2 Lines Long - October 26, 2007, 4:14 pm

I can't quite recall the last time I updated substantially. I have a feeling it's been awhile. So let's see what I've been doing lately.

I am now working at the Kidney Foundation until at least December. I'm still in the employee placement program, but it is a very good fit there for me. I've been doing mostly data entry. Apparently, their mailing list hasn't been updated in a very long time and it's a huge mess. This is my new project. So I am comparing lists and finding proper addresses and hopefully at some point coming up with an accurate and completed list. They are doing a House of Horrors this year to raise money and it has been exceedingly popular. They hope to make it an annual thing. I haven't actually been yet, but I hear the line-ups are fairly long. In any case, I enjoy my job and the people are cool so I hope to stay there for awhile.

I got another tattoo. This one is on my left arm. You can see a pic here. As well there is a more recent and healed picture of the tattoo on my back. I love my dragon. The next thing I want is his tail on my leg. I think this one will be bigger and more elaborate... We shall see when I get it done. It might not be until after Christmas.

I seem to have a new boyfriend. We started talking online the end of September and met on October 12th. It's only been 2 week but I feel like I've known him so much longer than that. We have a ton it common and it feels like such a great fit. He says he already knows he wants this relationship to last long term. Honestly, I think I feel the same way. It's a bit scary for me; I've crashed and burned a few times. This seems like it may last and I'm really happy about it.

I have a new cell phone, mostly for emergencies when regular contact options aren't available, but I have to admit it's a really fun toy as well. If you are interested int he number let me know. Of course, if you call long distance I shall have to call you back on the land line. It's damned expensive on a mobile.

That's cell phones for ya. When I was in Parkridge and you called me there on the cell phone the bill was rather huge. Plus I looked it up on the contract thinger.

I'd have to pay for a long distance plan. Pretty sure every carrier works that way.
